About Us

Since its inception in 1991, the focus on the aims and objectives of Papyrus Publishing has never wavered: to give to Australian authors of diverse cultural backgrounds the due recognition they deserve.

In alphabetical order, the first languages or cultural backgrounds of our authors are Arabic, Australian, Chinese, Czech, German, Italian, Lebanese, Persian and Romanian, to list but a few.

The Australian Multi-Cultural Book Review (AMBR) was published from 1993 to 2004 with the assistance of incoming funds from subscriptions and the help of volunteer editors and reviewers.
The journal — three times nominated for Australian Human Rights Awards — was Australia's only literary magazine which was dedicated to acquainting its readers with the fascinatingly diverse works of Australian authors.
